Chessed Ne’urim was established more than a decade ago with the aim of providing an educational, social and emotional framework for struggling Haredi youth. Alongside a Yeshiva High-school for boys (Amal Ha’Torah) and High-school and post High-school framework for girls (Tlamim, Neot Tamar & Tiferet), we operate a high-risk girls’ housing system, a graduate program, after school activities, professional courses, vocational guidance and more.
We are here to instill in every boy and girl the faith and pride they deserve, while upholding their connection to the place they came from. We serve as an educational, values and social home for youth who have not found themselves in the standard systems.
At Chessed Ne’urim we accompany every boy and girl along the stormy paths of adolescence. Together we create for them an appropriate and adapted framework, which constitutes a stable and fertile ground on which they can look forward to a promising future.
The principals, teachers, educators and counselors provide the students – together and separately – with a Torah framework, a professional horizon, a family and religious atmosphere, a supportive framework during the school years, and a connecting community after them.
Amal Ha’Torah Yeshiva high school for boys has approximately a hundred Haredi boys who found it difficult to adapt to the standard yeshiva frameworks. The curriculum at Amal Ha’Torah includes yeshiva study together with high-level secular studies, professional training and matriculation exams. The yeshiva staff is warm, attentive and loving, and accompanies each student personally during the school years.
We offer additional accompaniment and support post graduation.
Tlamim, Neot Tamar and Tiferet are High-school and post High-school frameworks for girls. The schools combine a high professional level with a personal and warm attitude.
Neot Tamar – a High-school framework for girls who find it difficult to integrate into mainstream Haredi frameworks, due to personal approach and differences.
Tlamim- a High-school framework for girls who have dropped out of the Haredi education system due to personal and / or family difficulties.
Tiferet – a post High-school framework for girls who are interested in acquiring a profession, combined with life skills, in an educational and spiritual setting.
Housing system for girls at risk – a complementary evening setting for girls from difficult backgrounds who cannot stay at home and may find themselves on the street in the years after high school. Each apartment has a coordinator, a house mother and a social worker. The girls in each apartment go through an emotional and educational rehabilitation process if necessary, along with courses that provide them with life skills and professional skills.
Our teams include clinical counselors and therapists, who together with the educational and professional staff provide girls with the educational and emotional support they need.
